Return to Paradise – One the Wine Road With Jeff Davis
Return to Paradise
It was two years and two months after the wine country wildfires when I returned to Paradise Ridge Winery to see how the rebuild was coming along. I had no idea it was the first day of their soft opening.
In October of 2017 their hospitality center and production facility burned to the ground. I’ve come to know the Byck family fairly well over the years and I’m thrilled to see the return of Paradise. Owner and family member Rene and I sat down in January so he could catch us up on the challenges his family faced the past two years, the new building and some changes they have in mind. See an artist’s rendering of the new building and more at PRWinery.com.

This Sliver of Sonoma Paradise delivers a dose of art, history, nature and fine wines in one stop
Everything was flawlessly executed and surpassed our expectations… The wine was outstanding; the venue was beautiful and intimate, both inside and outside; and the ambiance lent itself to the best wedding, reception, dinner, and party in the history of mankind.
This place has the feel of an insider’s secret…it’s well worth the effort to find.
Visitors are encouraged to wander down from the tasting room and then meander in no particular order among natural paths lined only in low fieldstones smothered with moss.
Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day so very perfect and beautiful. It greatly exceeded our expectations!
As lizards scamper about and red tailed hawks fly above, visitors can spend as little as 10 minutes or as much time as they like.
